Although I’ll probably be having a nice glass of red wine with my hubby on Saturday night, in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, I’m going to be drinking this fruity little number. I had most of the ingredients in my fridge already, including a little dark chocolate sauce (which I usually use to top sundaes) for adding a chocolate rim to the glass.
Since I have lots of practice muddling mint for mojitos, which we drink all summer long, smashing up the strawberries was pretty easy. I added a touch of sugar to sweeten it, but you could also use an artificial sweetener to keep it more low-cal, or use lemon-lime soda instead of the vanilla seltzer. Either way, it’s a fun new Valentine’s Day cocktail to try with your girlfriends or your honey this week!
