Two weeks ago husband texted me at work and asked if we could have a party over the weekend. Um, sure? You don’t have to ask me twice to throw a party! We had friends over for a Hawaiian-themed party, and I wanted something easy yet impressive to make for dessert. Bananas foster was the perfect choice.
This bananas foster recipe is one I’ve been making for almost ten years now, but I hadn’t made it in awhile. I had forgotten just how delicious it was! The best part of all is that you get to light it on fire at the end, which caramelizes the bananas and makes you look like a total badass chef. Except that I made husband light it during the party because it was a big batch and fire scares me a little.
